Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapy

Experience: Proven experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a post-acute or rehabilitation setting
License: Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
Certifications: CPR certification (preferred)
Must-Have: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
Job Description:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Implement physical therapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to improve patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and ways to improve overall wellness.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the state licensing board.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move patients, equipment, and supplies.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and performing physical therapy interventions.
- Manual dexterity and strength to perform therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
