Are you a Physical Therapist looking to pick up extra hours? As a Physical Therapist, at Merit Health Biloxi, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients! Duties Include: - Evaluates patients and develops patient-specific physical therapy treatment program.
- Monitors, reassesses and modifies treatment program to meet patient needs in an ongoing manner.
- Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, students, etc.).
- Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff.
- Performs treatments demonstrating awareness of growth and development for each population group.
- Applies knowledge of population specific needs when assessing/caring for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to psycho-social and developmental needs.
- PRN position (as needed)
Requirements: - Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- 1 year of experience with Pediatric and Adults preferred.
- Current Physical Therapist MS state license.
- BLS certification required.
