PRN Position
This team consists of a fun and diverse group of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, physical therapy assistants, cardiac rehab nurses, exercise specialists and a rehab tech! Our physical therapy team consists of 14-16 individuals who have approximately 260 years of combined experience! We have therapists and assistants who specialize in a variety of areas including but not limited to: women's health/pelvic floor dysfunction, orthopedics, pediatrics, lymphedema, LSVT Big (Parkinson's disease) and other neurological diagnoses, vestibular problems, balance, and concussion management. Our 4 occupational therapists have a combined 66 years of experience and enjoy seeing patients with orthopedic diagnosis from the shoulder to the hand, neurological diagnosis and pediatric patient who may have sensory dysfunction, feeding and eating issues and developmental delay. Our 3 speech and language pathologists have a combined 9-10 years of experience and treat many pediatric patients with speech delay, articulation deficits, and feeding and eating difficulties. They also treat adult patients who have dysphasia (troubles with swallowing), and memory/cognition deficits. Our cardiac rehab staff is comprised of 3 nurses and 2 exercise specialists, totaling a combined experience of over 100 years! They are essential in helping our cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients recover from cardiopulmonary events and procedures and get back to a healthy and active lifestyle. The leadership team consists of Director and Physical Therapist Katy Enloe, Manager and Physical Therapist, Dr. Amanda Kocis and Supervisor and Occupational Therapist Treva Haney.
Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Experience: N/A Licensure/ Certification: Respective state license in Physical Therapy or has graduated successfully from a professional program, is in receipt of Authorization to Test Letter, is scheduled to test within 60 days of eligibility, and has not failed the licensure exam. After passing licensure exam, state license must be verifiable within one year of hire. CPR certification within 90 days of hire Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: N/A Experience: Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Licensure/ Certification: Valid state driver's license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems. Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
