Wade Carrier Company Inc , a FedEx Ground contractor, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for seasonal/full time Delivery Drivers. Drivers will be operating out of the
Oklahoma City terminal and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses.
The terminal location: 14748 North Lincoln Blvd, Edmond, Ok
Compensation: $150.00 per day while in training and $165.00 per day once training is completed
Work Hours: 8:00 am to Delivery completion (avg of 120 to 140 stops)
Work Schedule: 6 days per week (1 weekend day required)
DELIVERY DRIVER BENEFITS for Full time drivers - Paid Weekly- Direct Deposit on Friday

DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS - Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years OR 5 years of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 5 years. MILITARY DRIVING, TAXI, UBER, PIZZA DELIVERY, and LANDSCAPE DRIVER, ETC are ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical and Physical Exam (Paid for by FedEx!)
- Must submit a background check
- Physically able to handle packages up to 150 lbs (with a dolly)
- This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck
- Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus
DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain 100% service performance - Deliver all the packages every day in a timely manner.
- The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and a good general knowledge of the local area.
- Complete Daily DOT inspection for your vehicles before and after each route.
- Follow FedEx Ground procedures for scanning, marking, handling and delivering all packages
- Wear proper uniform while at work at all times.
- Ensure all Safety Incidents are properly reported to the Business Contacts.
