We are seeking a Network Engineer to enhance our team, focusing on the design, migration, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of LAN/WAN/Video/Voice/desktop infrastructure. Our network engineers are crucial in developing unique network solutions. Utilize your independent judgment to maintain and upgrade hardware and software while ensuring network availability for all users. Key responsibilities include developing new network designs, assessing management architecture, documenting systems, creating test plans, and conducting thorough testing.
Minimal travel (no more than 5% CONUS) is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technical solutions for complex issues requiring in-depth expertise.
- Analyze diverse data sources to fully understand network problems and inform solutions; strong skills in network monitoring and data analysis are essential.
- Evaluate and validate network service requests.
- Assess existing and future network infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain network hardware and software to ensure seamless communication.
- Monitor network performance to guarantee availability and conduct necessary maintenance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network infrastructure.
- Support the development of network architecture and long-term planning.
- Assist in design documentation, factory testing, and integration of network solutions.
- Manage installations, upgrades, and provide support for systems and products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish priorities, develop multi-year roadmaps, and outline strategic network upgrades.
- Prepare presentations for client approval boards.
- Participate in creating training programs for new employees and support the onboarding of new team members on network systems and best practices.
- Develop leadership skills by mentoring junior team members, leading projects, and engaging in leadership development initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Experience with programs of similar scale and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree and at least 18 years of experience, or Master's degree with 15 years of experience, or a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Hands-on experience in network engineering and administration.
- Proven experience in network engineering or administration on comparable programs.
- Proficiency in Cisco and Juniper Architecture.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco or Juniper certifications are a plus.

Pay Range: $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
