Join Leidos as we seek a talented systems administrator/engineer for our AWS infrastructure team. This role is vital in helping implement an innovative desktop and web-based production and dissemination system. The ideal candidate will possess an active TS security clearance and have experience in setting up and managing Windows Servers within cloud environments, as well as deploying and maintaining custom code, COTS, and GOTS in these environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this position, you will lead systems administration tasks to support the development and delivery of cutting-edge systems that enhance analytics, exploitation, production, and dissemination using web, remote desktop, and cloud technologies. Key responsibilities will include:

• Building and configuring Windows instances in AWS.
• Performing deployments across various development, testing, and production environments.
• Patching and troubleshooting systems effectively.
• Collaborating with internal and external development teams, alongside enterprise components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
• Compliance with DoD 8570.
• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of system design and architecture (hardware, software, and networking).
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Proactive and a self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain high attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills suited for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience deploying GIS applications, specifically with ESRI ArcGIS, as well as technologies like WMS, WFS, and KML.
• Familiarity with various AWS services and capabilities.
• Proven experience in writing and maintaining architecture diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both virtual and in person.
• Experience with team collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, RocketChat).
• Relevant Microsoft or AWS certifications.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
