Join Our Team as a Lead Mobile Application Developer!

The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Application Developer to lead a team of applications developers, designers, and task leads. In this role, you will design and develop a client engagement and mobile intelligence delivery application on iOS and Android devices for a critical Intelligence Community customer. The application aims to facilitate the compilation of intelligence from various sources, create customizable digital intelligence for executive leadership, and provide capabilities for global collaboration. The ideal candidate will be proficient in front-end and back-end development and will prioritize collaboration between teams to achieve integrated and innovative solutions.

  • Lead a team of application developers, designers, and task leaders
  • Create a system for delivering intelligence via digital tablets
  • Collaborate with government leads and stakeholders to define project requirements and goals
  • Ensure system compatibility with network operating environment and architecture
  • Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces
  • Use back-end technologies for a secure and reliable architecture
  • Adopt Agile methodologies for iterative development
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to embed security measures into the development process

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph
  • BS in software engineering or related field, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in software development or technology management
  • Experience with front-end technologies, mobile development, and database design
  • Experience overseeing application development and presenting overview briefings to government leads and partners
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks

Favorable Qualifications

  • Experience managing a software development team through a government ATO process
  • Experience developing unclassified software for configuration in a classified environment
