Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist . In this role, you will manage customer billing, collections, and account reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming payments. You will play a key role in maintaining financial health by reducing outstanding receivables and fostering positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute customer invoices and account statements promptly.
  • Monitor and manage the collections process, following up on overdue accounts via phone, email, and mail.
  • Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile accounts to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies and billing issues efficiently.
  • Prepare and maintain aging reports and provide regular updates to the finance team.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve customer billing issues.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
  • Recommend improvements to the AR process to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
