Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our team as a Golf Course Starter. As the first point of contact for golfers arriving at our course, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. The Golf Course Starter will be responsible for managing tee times, maintaining the pace of play, and providing assistance and guidance to golfers as needed.
Responsibilities:
Greet golfers upon arrival and provide a warm welcome to our course.
Manager tee times efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions between groups.
Monitor the pace of play and take necessary actions to maintain an appropriate speed.
Provide golfers with helpful information about course conditions, local rules, and any special instructions.
Assist with managing golf cart rentals and ensuring they are returned in good condition.
Address any inquiries or concerns from golfers in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain a clean and organized starter area.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a customer service-oriented role, preferably in a golf course environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and terminology.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
