The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Practice Group Manager to manage the business operations for two practice groups at a top national law firm. This individual will develop strategies and initiatives to streamline day to day operations and grow revenue for the practice groups. This is a terrific role for a candidate with solid legal operations experience and a propensity for strategy to take on a highly visible role!
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with partners in developing strategic plans for the practice group
- Analyze financial data and create financial reports for leadership
- Collaborate with HR and other teams on associate development and retention initiatives
- Develop presentations and agendas for internal meetings
- Evaluate practice group needs to identify gaps in resources and recruiting needs
- Assist with business development plans and initiatives
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree or JD preferred
- 5+ years of legal operations experience
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients alike
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
