Insight Global is looking for a Tactical on-site subject matter expert in Tactical Maneuver Watercraft Research Analysis for the Littoral Maneuver Branch, MExW, at Headquarters Marine Corps, Deputy Commandant for Combat Development & Integration (DC, CD&I), Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC), located at Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist with identification of littoral tactical maneuver, watercraft, and surface vessel requirements for the Marine Corps and the Naval Expeditionary Force and assist with the associated capability development documentation as defined in the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process.
- Leverage operational experience and technical expertise as an Army Watercraft expert to assist in developing functional concepts, concepts of employment, and concepts of operations, documentation specific to various tactical maneuver platforms including but not limited to manned/unmanned watercraft and surface vessels.
- Participate in the planning, design, and execution of demonstrations, operational evaluations, assessments, acceptance trials, documentation, and adjudication of observations related to tactical maneuver watercraft requirements developmental efforts.
- Assist with the development and refinement of Mission Essential Tasks, Task Lists, and Marine Corps Task Lists regarding tactical maneuver watercraft.
- Support doctrine development, and periodic doctrine reviews associated with Marine Corps, and Naval Expeditionary Force tactical maneuver and watercraft operations.
- Assist with collaboration efforts through various resource sponsors to ensure Marine Corps and Naval Expeditionary Force required capabilities and equities are accurately interpreted and incorporated within appropriate tactical maneuver watercraft requirements documentation.
- Assist with Science and Technology (S&T) efforts necessary to enhance future littoral maneuver and Surface Craft/Connector capabilities of the Marine Corps and Naval Expeditionary Force.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred.
- High School Diploma, AA Degree, or years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Experienced Army Watercraft operational research and analysis in military planning and/or operations.
- Knowledge of Army/Navy/Marine Corps policies and procedures.
- Capable of working efficiently within a military staff environment that requires coordination at the Army, Navy & Marine Corps service and joint staff levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess or be eligible to possess an active U.S. Secret level security clearance. As required, obtain a Secure Internet Protocol (SIPR) access token for access to government SIPR computers terminals.
- Hold a valid US Driver’s License, with ability to operate private, and commercial owned motor vehicles (Rental), as required for commuting and travel.
- Must be able to obtain a contractor's common access card, which will stand as identification for instructors and will enable them to access government owned computer equipment and Non-secure Internet Protocol.
