Physical Therapist - Outpatient Garland, TX

Seeking a full time physical therapist willing to treat orthopedic and high level neurological conditions. Therapist would be joining our growing multi-disciplinary team or 9 PTs, 1 OT, and 1 SLP. Looking for a generalist willing to treat a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic conditions- operative and non-operative patients, young athletes, spine, gait and balance, patients with movement disorders including Parkinson's, stroke, and general medical conditions. Experience or interest in treating vestibular disorders is preferred. Therapist must be comfortable building relationships within the community and with referral sources.

Select Medical complies with state and federal wage and hour laws. Compensation depends upon candidate's years of experience and internal equity. Minimum pay: $75,920.00

Responsibilities
nn
As a Physical Therapist at one of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, you will work with a team of clinicians. Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
n
n - Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
n - Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
n - Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
n - Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
n - Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
n - Promoting continuous quality improvement
n - Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications
n
.Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required..Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
