RESPONSIBILITIESnnUpdated pay scale $48.20 - $52.90 based on experience.nnI. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:nn• Prepares and performs a variety of CT and radiologic procedures.nn• Provides patient care during procedures.nnII. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:nn• Essential: standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting, pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of force, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds.nn• Continuous: reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object.nn• Frequent: stooping/bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.nn• Occasional: kneeling, squatting, twisting body.nn• Operates CT scanner, computer, telephone, printer.nnIII. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:nn• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.nn• Exposed to communicable diseases. Work environment may be stressful due to patient volume.nnIV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:nnA. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:nn• Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist.nn• Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.). If not certified, certification must be obtained within one (1) year of entrance into the position.nn• In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff.nn• Current BLS/HCP certification.nnB. EXPERIENCE:nn• Two (2) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility;nnORnn• One (1) year experience in Radiologic Special Procedures.nn• CT experience preferred.nnEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Vet
