Position Overview:

• Deliver high-quality treatment to patients seeking outpatient services in our therapy department.
• Work across different settings, including acute care, transitional care units, long-term care, swing bed, pediatrics, and outpatient adult therapy.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will be responsible for providing treatment to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Rehab program.
• Daily work assignments may vary based on the discretion of department leadership, considering staffing needs and patient volumes.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in the field is preferred.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Must hold a current South Dakota PTA license through the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within the first three months of employment.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday; 80 hours every two weeks
• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.25 to $34.00, with the actual rate dependent on experience.
