QED Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced Executive Chef that is driven, energetic, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person will work with integrity and stop at nothing to provide the best product, service, and overall experience for their guests. The Chef will work in tandem with the Director of Food and Beverage to execute the mission and goals of the company. Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus for the restaurant and all banquets.
- Oversee, train, and develop all management and staff.
- Continually evaluate processes and staff to improve the performance of the operations as a whole.
- Strong financial acumen in controlling costs and generating revenue.
- Ensures a high level of guest satisfaction and cultivates return business.
- Leadership mentality with the ability to motivate and build a strong team.
- Keep open lines of communication between ownership and hotel management at all times while working together towards the common goal of creating the best experience possible for the guests.
- Use provided tools to analyze business patterns, labor trends, and sales history to make smart and effective business decisions.
Executive Chef Requirements:
- Must have experience working in upscale/fine dining independent restaurants
- Multi-outlet experience is a huge plus
- 2-5 years in a similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience required
- Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
