Our space is a bustling hub of culinary delights, featuring a bakery, coffee shop, deli, grab & go, and market – and we're looking for a passionate Pastry Chef to join our leadership team.
Pastry Chef Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high-volume bakery or pastry kitchen, with a solid understanding of baking principles and techniques.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a pastry chef or sous chef (leadership experience)
- Passion for baking and pastry, with a desire to continually expand your knowledge and skill set.
- Ability to oversee, lead, coach and mentor a high functioning pastry team
- Proven experience in cake, pie, tart, pastry production and artistic decoration
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team toward shared goals.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Experience with Cost Management (ingredients, labor, supplies and equipment)
- Flexible schedule: early mornings, weekends, nights and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time and lift/carry up to 50lb
- CA Food Handler Certified- Manager

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary $70,000.00-$80,000.00
