Del Mar is currently hiring both full and part time hosts! Del Mar is Fabio Trabocchi’s celebration of Spanish seafood cuisine on the waterfront of the Wharf. The restaurant was entirely designed in Spain and assembled by a team of Spanish artisans to celebrate Spanish craftmanship and lifestyle. The menu offers a range of traditional and seasonal Tapas, Catalan-Style Charcoal Grilled Entrees, as well as the must-have Signature Paella.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively participates in all training programs and consistently meets training expectations.
- Maintains constant communication with team members while on duty.
- Consistently provides guests with a warm
- Anticipates and accommodates guest needs throughout service.
- Notes and communicatesguest preferences, special requests and arrangements for special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries.
- Attends to basic guest inquiries including general restaurant information, directions, lost credit cards, receipt requests, large party reservations, and gift card requests .
- Consistently provides guests with a fond farewell.
- Conducts daily inspections of the Host-stand.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization at the restaurant entrance and Host-stand.
- Ensurestables are laid out and set-up according to daily floor plans.
- Monitors guest waiting times and checks in on waiting guests.
- Seatsguests in the dining room.
- Communicatesguest preferences, and table-specific details to relevant team members.
- Monitors tables and marking dining statuses on
- Updates guest notes and preferences.
- Handles any guest requests or complaints within reason or referring guests to Managers on duty if and when
- Facilitatesguest car-services and coat-services when necessary.
- Conducts all required Opening, Side-Work, Hand-Over and Closing Duties as outlined by Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants and management.
- Consistently maintains Grooming Standards.
- Maintains Restaurant knowledge and information, including menu, staff, management team, private events, and open house.
- Isalways pro-active and identifies potential problems before they arise.
- “Owns” problems when they arise and takes responsibility by finding solutions.
- Performs additional tasks at the direction of management.

- Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants offers full-time employees company subsidized health insurance. A full-time employee must work on average 30 hours per week to qualify for health insurance benefits. Coverage begins on the first of the month after the 60th day of employment. The insurance enrollment period is between 30 and 90 days of employment.
