ActionLink is seeking an engaging individual with a flair for hair care who will enjoy creating quality interactions inside local Sephora and Nordstrom locations.
n
Our Beauty Advisor will use sales and demonstration strategies to promote our global client, Dyson, and their premier line of personal hair styling tools, including the Airwrap Styler, Supersonic Hair Dryer, and Corrale Straightener. The Brand Ambassador is tasked with showcasing these haircare items to customers and demonstrating all the cutting-edge reasons why they are the best in the industry!In this role, you will assess your customers' hairstyling curiosities and preferences, answer their questions, and provide live demos of the products' innovative mechanical features that will improve their daily hair styling routines.

The pay rate range is $28.00 - $32.00 hour commensurate with experience

Licensed cosmetologists may earn higher pay rate

** What you will do: **

Travel to assigned retailers to drive store sales and achieve/exceed sales goals

Establish positive professional connections with store leaders and associates
n n- n
Conduct demo presentations to individuals and groups of store staff and clients
n n- n
Exude passion for the Dyson Brand and display expert knowledge of the full range of technology
n n- n
Train the store personnel to communicate Dyson technology with confidence
n n- n
Keep updated about the latest products and ensure that all store locations are informed
n n- n
Maintain merchandising standards at shopfront
n n- n
Complete surveys with feedback and pictures after each shift
n n
n

Valid cosmetology license preferred but not required
n n- n
Sales, retail, product demo, or relevant customer relations experience
n n- n
Experience in hair styling and working at a salon is strongly preferred
n n- n
Knowledge of the Sephora and/or Ulta retail environment; prior relationships or experience in these stores is a plus
n n- n
Demonstrates aptitude for teaching in different settings, including individual and group contexts
n n- n
Must adhere to dress code/professional appearance standards and demeanor
n n- n
Access to reliable vehicle transportation to drive to locations throughout assigned territory
n n- n
Open availability to work Fridays through Sundays

Access to a smart device for reporting
