Your success is our success.nnDescriptionnnJob Summary:nnTo functional test and repair electrical, electronic, and communication systems during final assembly of production aircraft. May be required to assist higher grade Technicians.nnJob Responsibilities:nnWorks from airplane orders, schematic drawings, engineering specifications, inspection records, standard shop practices, oral and written instructions to functional test a variety of standard and optional electrical and electronic systems under minimum supervision.nno May remove or install components and wiring for systems such as radios, altimeters, transponders, autopilots, automatic direction finders and weather radar.nno Load system software and databases and configuring as required.nnFunctional test systems using a variety of standard test equipment such as resistance and capacitance units, field strength meters, volt-ohmmeters, ammeter, oscilloscope.nnUses variety of hand tools to adjust or restore systems to proper operation according to accepted shop procedures, engineering and inspection requirements.nnResponsible for quality of own work.nnPerforms other related duties as required.nnQualificationsnnEducation:nnMust have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification. Must have knowledge of electrical and electronic principles use of test equipment, and ability to interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and specifications. At least one-year formal training in fundamental electricity and electronics preferred. Required to have knowledge of systems and shop application of test equipment.nnExperience:nnA minimum of 1 year diversified aircraft experience including wire bundle routing and installation. Demonstrate the ability to read and understand schematic drawings, basic electrical fundamentals, and the use of multi-meters.nnWorking Conditions:nnSomewhat disagreeable working conditions due to levels from adjacent shop areas.nnThis role is eligible for a $4,000 (pre-tax) sign-on bonus.
