Job Title: Accounting Clerk Location: Fairfield, OH (on-site) Work hour: 8:00am - 4:30pm FLSA: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire A global manufacturing company in Fairfield, OH, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and preparing monthly reports. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or related experience, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and a detail-oriented mindset. Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. Prepare and record journal entries as needed. Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits. Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting-related issues. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Generate accurate reports with minimal errors. Foster effective communication with team members and external contacts. Perform various clerical tasks and support special projects as required. Qualifications: 0-3 years of accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Bilingual proficiency in Japanese or Spanish is a plus.
