Job DescriptionnnUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDnn#LI-JL2nnThe Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers missions. Our collaborative, cross-functional teams are committed to innovation, integrity, continual learning and strong execution.nnWhat You ll Do:nnProduction responsibilities include:nnConfigure the Range for RF operation.nnUtilize overhead cranes to move heavy / large tooling and equipment.nnInstall and assemble defined Range test tooling.nnSet-up and calibrate the Range for test execution per documented procedure, specification or standard.nnInstall and connect antennas to be tested.nnExecute RF tests per documented procedure.nnProcess and plot required Range data files as defined.nnSign-off on test operations certifying that tests have been conducted as specified in the product acceptance test procedure.nnUtilize paper or electronic formats to maintain required process logs, records and reports in accordance with BATC policies and government regulation.nnUse internal electronic scheduling system to tear-down and set-up for the next scheduled test.nnInitiate emergency procedures in case of power failure; recognize safety hazards, including hazardous materials, and pursue corrective action when necessary.nnInitiate and sustain process improvement activities to increase process efficiency and reduce risks to hardware or data quality.nnExecute equipment and system maintenance activities.nnSupport prototype / development RF testing. Responsibilities include:nnSet-up of Range and execution of special tests with minimal engineering oversight, direction or documentation.nnConduct tests: monitor, analyze, reduce and record data; and perform mathematical calculations.nnWill also be expected to support the Range in a more operational role, including performance of preventive maintenance and some Range maintenance tasks.nnMay be required to read / document schematic diagrams.nnTroubleshoot circuits to the component level.nnAssemble electronic circuits and perform cause and affect analysis.nnWork as a team member with other Range technicians, as well as Range, Manufacturing and Test engineering.nnMaintain a regular and predictable work schedule.nnEstablish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.nnPerform other duties as necessary.nnOn-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.nnWorking Conditions:nnWork is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.nnRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsnnHigh School diploma or equivalent.nnEach higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor s or Master s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.nnAbility to perform shift. Position is for 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm Monday through Friday with shift differential included.nnFamiliarity with Microsoft Office products and comfortable with computer systems and various software applications.nnAbility to lift 45 lbs. occasionally.nnA DoD Interim Secret clearance will be required to start work and required to be maintained to continue work. Higher level clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.nnPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsnnElectro-mechanical background.nnA current, active Secret security clearance.nnPay InformationnnFull-Time Salary Range: $38060.000 - $60940.000nnPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
