Overview

The Automotive Accounting Clerk performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to contracts, dealer trades.  reconciling statements, receptionist backup and cross train with other desks to ensure proper coverage at all times.

Responsibilities

    n
  • Posting dealer trades for two stores
  • n
  • Reconciling dealer trade schedules and following up with management and other dealers as needed.
  • n
  • Receiving and sending MSOs as needed
  • n
  • Pay flooring daily for traded vehicles.
  • n
  • Works closely with Contract Clerks to meet deadlines and prioritize work.
  • n
  • Cross training with other desks to ensure proper coverage at all times.
  • n
  • Assist with breaking down deals for scanning.
  • n
  • Scanning dealer trades and wholesales
  • n
  • Filing dealer trades once all documents are accounted for.
  • n
  • Reception backup.
  • n
  • Meet month end deadlines, working overtime and weekends as needed.
  • n
  • Computer skills, specifically Excel a plus, typing skills, proper email etiquette.
  • n

Qualifications

  • Entry Level - willing to train.
  • n
  • Must be computer literate.
  • n
  • Prior data entry experience a PLUS!
  • n
  • Must have a Positive Team Spirit!
  • n
  • Must possess excellent organization skills.
  • n
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • n
  • Must have good work ethics including maintaining a neat work area.
  • n
  • Good attendance required.
