This role is directly responsible for leading the statistical programming activities for a compound/indication or therapeutic area in early development. The Manager of Statistical Programming must effectively interface with Statistics, Data Sciences, Medical Writing, Regulatory Publishing and Clinical Operations.nnResponsibilitiesnnLeads the statistical programming activities for a compound/indication or therapeutic area in early development.nnLeads a team of statistical programmers and manages the resource planning for assigned staff.nnEnsures timely deliverables, that all quality processes are followed and consistency within the projects.nnDevelops and oversees the development of SAS programs for the creation of ADaM data sets following CDISC standards.nnDevelops and oversees the development of SAS programs for the creation of Tables, Listings and Figures.nnEnsures consistency of ADaM data sets for individual studies and integrated data.nnCreates documentation for regulatory filings including reviewers guides and data definition documents.nnLeads the development of standard SAS Macros and participates in the development of standard operating procedures.nnProvides oversight and mentoring of assigned Statistical Programmers, Statistical Analysts and Senior Statistical Analysts.nnQualificationsnnMS in Statistics, Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience. OR BS in Statistics, Computer Science or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.nnPrevious experience leading a team of statistical programmers.nnIn-depth understanding of SAS programming concepts and techniques related to drug development.nnIn-depth understanding of CDISC Standards.nnIn-depth understanding of the drug development process, including experience with regulatory filings.nnAbility to communicate clearly both oral and written.nnAbility to effectively represent the Statistical Programming Organization in cross functional teams.nnAbility to accurately estimate effort required for project related programming activities.nnKey Stakeholdersnn• Statisticiansnn• Data Scientistsnn• Medical Writersnn• Regulatory PublishersnnThis is a remote opportunity that can be hired anywhere in the USnnAdditional InformationnnApplicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ?nn?nnThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
