DescriptionnnPOSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Specialist will work closely with operations and accounting management to assure the maintenance of internal control procedures, standards, and compliance as it pertains to the Sarbanes Oxley Act and to insure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignednn1) Reconciling production between shop floor and SAP.nn2) Balancing finished product and raw meat inventories daily.nn3) Correcting storage locations within SAP for raw meat and finished goods.nn4) Clearing production errors within SAP and closing daily production.nn5) Reconciling sales and internal product transfers.nn6) Assisting production accountant with weekly production data.nn7) Back up for time keeper.nn8) Enter daily numbers for production daily killsnn9) Balance between two systems before postingnn10) Will be able to cross train for coverage in the department with other clerknn11) Work closely with the Live Accounting team to balance head per farmnnEXPECTATIONS – all Team Membersnn· Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.nn· Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.nn· Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies such as Six Sigmann· Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks.
