Job Description

Our client is a large organization that is building out its team to undergo a tech transformation. They pride themselves on fostering an environment where their employees’ voices are always heard, and they are constantly being challenged. They are looking for a Data Integrity Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within the organization’s electronic health record (EHR) system and other information systems. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.


Data Integrity Analyst’s Responsibilities and Duties

  • Regularly review and validate data entries in the EHR system and other databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct data audits to identify inconsistencies, errors, and duplicates, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Address data discrepancies by investigating and coordinating with relevant departments to resolve issues.
  • Ensure that all data handling practices comply with HIPAA, hospital policies, and other regulatory standards.


Data Integrity Analyst’s Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. RHIT or RHIA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, healthcare data analysis, or a similar role, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and data analysis tools. Strong Excel skills required; experience with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, data privacy laws, and healthcare data standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
