Job Title : Analytics Engineer

Location : Fully Remote, must work Central Time hours (U.S. only, excluding California, North Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico)

Compensation : Up to $100k annually

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing business intelligence and analytics solutions to drive data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Fabric, and data warehousing, with a focus on semantic data modeling for supply chain operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions to support supply chain operations and decision-making.

• Create and optimize PowerBI dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.

• Develop and optimize SSRS and SSIS packages for data integration and analysis.

• Use Azure Data Factory (ADF) to manage data workflows.

• Implement Azure Synapse Analytics for scalable data warehousing solutions.

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement data models and semantic layers.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across platforms.

• Provide technical support for analytics tools, troubleshooting as needed.

• Continuously improve analytics processes to meet business needs.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in analytics development, particularly with PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.

• Proficiency in data warehousing, data modeling, and semantic layers.

• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and related tools.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Visual Studio IDE, Python, C#, and PySpark.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus.

• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams.

• Ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of data security practices and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

• Experience with Azure Fabric for modern data architectures.

• Familiarity with advanced analytics tools such as machine learning or AI for predictive analytics.
