We seek a talented Interior Designer to join our client’s innovative and collaborative team in Atlanta, GA.


As a key member of our client’s creative force, you'll have the opportunity to work on breathtaking homes ranging from 7,500 to 10,000 sq ft, nestled in picturesque mountain, lakeside, and coastal settings. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping their signature style, which seamlessly blends with the natural surroundings and client preferences, as you collaborate closely with architectural teams from site selection through project completion. The Interior Designer role works closely with Project Managers and the Studio Director on all phases of client projects, emphasizing interior architectural drawings. You’ll be a part of a highly respected, fast-paced team creating top luxury residences nationwide. This position is full-time and reports to the Project Managers.


Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of design concepts, space planning, interior architectural design details, schemes, and custom elements of projects
  • Set-up, develop and edit drawings in AutoCAD; plans and interior elevations
  • Assist in developing supporting documentation for various projects: interior architectural drawings, presentation boards, renderings, packets, schedules, transmittals, etc.
  • Assist in preparation for client presentations
  • Assist in gathering quotations from vendors and contractors
  • Successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously, exercising strong time management skills
  • Assist in completing the client post-installation punchlist
  • Support Project Manager as needed to deliver favorable client outcomes
  • Attend new client Team Debrief; attend weekly company-wide office meetings
  • When appropriate, attend client meetings
  • When appropriate, participate in installation –preparation, on site, images and daily summaries
  • Attend industry and educational events


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture,
  • 2-5 years of work experience
  • Proficiency in Autodesk & Adobe Suites (including Photoshop), Microsoft 365, Revit and freehand drawing
  • Willingness to be coached with a desire to grow professionally within the firm
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a good team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented; possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, polished appearance, as well as exercise appropriate decorum with vendors
  • Possess a strong commitment to client service and have a strong understanding of decorum with contractors and partners regarding clients’ privacy
  • Develop creativity, new ideas, processes, and skills to eventually lead projects
  • Create relationships with industry partners, artisans, and workrooms
  • Cultivate skills by creating interior architectural drawings; including but not limited to furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans and millwork drawings
