During the off season this position will work on various projects and preventive maintenance. This is a full-time year-round benefit eligible position, paid at $30.00 - $35.00/hr, based on experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIESInstall, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixturesAbility to braze and solder pipes and tubesLocate and repair water line leaks and remove clogsDiagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issuesDetermine and order materials for each projectPerform pressure tests on air and water systemsOther general maintenance duties as needed and assignedRespond to and close work orders in a timely fashionAdditional duties as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEducation: High School Diploma, or equivalent Proof of completed apprenticeshipVocational certification/Valid plumbing licenseExperience:3 years related experience QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTSA general understanding and working knowledge of mechanical systems, i.e. heating, electrical and plumbing, is required for this position.Ability to read technical designs and blueprintsProficiency using plumbing tools, materials, and equipmentExpert knowledge in piping and ventilation systemsUnderstands state regulations and local building codesExperience with oil and gas boilersMust be a strong independent and collaborative workerTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Vehicle provided for travel on the mountain. A valid driver's license is required for this position and successful Motor Vehicle background check.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
