Job Summary
$15,000 Hiring Bonus
$5,000 Relocation Allowance
Salary is based on experience and education. An entry-level PT starts with a baseline compensation of $67,600.

Position Summary
The Physical Therapist uses professional, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate, treat, and educate patients with dysfunctions of musculoskeletal, cardio-pulmonary, and neurological systems. Acts as an integral part of the Rehab team, providing departmental support for continual improvement and excellent patient outcomes while demonstrating the Mission, Vision, and Values of UNC Health Appalachian.
Position Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required at the time of hire.
Minimum Education
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree from University with an APTA accredited curriculum in Physical Therapy.
- Opportunities available for new grads.
Experience
- Satisfactory completion of student affiliations before graduation
- One-year experience preferred
