Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. As a member of our rehabilitation staff, you will work closely with patients to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and improving overall quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, including orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related conditions.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and clinical judgment.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic exercises to achieve treatment goals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a physical therapist in an outpatient setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills with expertise in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
