Woody Buick GMC  is Chicaogland’s largest GM Dealership.  We are a family-owned dealership focused on customer satisfaction and community.  We are seeking a Payroll Clerk  capable of processing weekly payroll for hourly and commissioned employees.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for weekly and monthly payments
• Collect and verify timesheets, bonuses and commissions
• Calculate proper taxes and withholdings
• Remit payments for employment taxes, union and employee benefits
• Submit reporting for state, federal, union, insurance etc.
• Update and retain payroll records including compensation plans, vacation and benefits 
• Assist with maintaining employee files
• Work closely with office manager
• Resolve discrepancies related to payroll with employees and management
• Provide additional support with accounting and miscellaneous office duties as necessary
• Maintain a professional appearance

Qualifications:

• Computer literate and able to learn new software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and
• Good communication skills 
• 3-5 years of payroll or equivalent experience
