Responsibilities

• Excel in Customer service
• Excel in knowledge of insurance guidelines, understand and process benefits for financials
• Determine all necessary documents require for proper processing (orders, clinical notes, testing etc.) to meet insurance guidelines
• Request/pull additional documentation from referral EMR
• Proficient in using Medicare IVR for verification needs
• Collect payments from patients when required
• Create case management contracts and follow up for signed copies
• o Create sales order and forward to dispatch
• Request/submit insurance authorization when required
• Log initial DWO/CMN and authorizations
• Verify/confirm contact information with patient for delivery
• Maintain communication with hospital and facilities regarding order process via Careport, All Scripts, DME scripts and other communication platforms
• Mentorship of new hires, (on the job training)
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager

Requirements

• Meets and excels at all Intake 1 Duties
• Customer service skills, computer skills, knowledge of job duties of team 1, ability to multitask and prioritize, insurance knowledge
• Must have minimum six months intake experience in DME industry or meet weekly KPI expectations for role
