Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a temporary to permanent Community Program Manager to join their team in early January! About the Job:

  • Build partnerships with aligned efforts to create a cohesive network for the community.
  • Oversee key aspects and the applications for federal and state grants.
  • Collaborate with leadership on fundraising efforts.
  • Ensure complete and accurate information is recorded in the database in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all programs and handle sensitive situations with respect.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities related to the position.

About You:

  • 3+ years of program management experience is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience in a non-profit or volunteering with disadvantaged communities is highly desired!
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong follow-through on independent work.
  • Display creative problem-solving, flexibility, and sensitivity in handling unique situations.

About the Position:

  • Pays $25-$30/hr while temporary.
  • $55k-$65k, depending on experience, when permanent.
  • 100% onsite in Washington, DC.
  • Travel to community centers, libraries, etc., to work on the ground.
