About the Role: The role of Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods from the warehouse to various customer locations. This role involves loading and unloading materials, ensuring accurate delivery, and providing excellent customer service. The driver must adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while maintaining the condition of the delivery vehicle.

Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to customers and partners.
- Load and unload materials from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify delivery instructions and ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods according to the delivery schedule.
- Maintain delivery logs and reports, accurately documenting delivery activities, mileage, and any issues encountered.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks, reporting any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, providing updates on delivery times and handling any issues that arise.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the organization and management of delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Key Qualifications: - High School Diploma, or equivalent education, preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Class A CDL is preferred.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver and/or similar role.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation systems.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Basic mechanical skills for routine vehicle maintenance.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
