Job Title: Physical Therapist (Float)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Not required, but previous experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.
License: State license in Physical Therapy or recent graduates scheduled to test within 60 days of eligibility. State license must be verifiable within one year of hire.
Certifications: CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Must-Have:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and treatment team members.
Job Description:
- Assist patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.
- Travel between specified clinic and hospital locations, with a consistent daily schedule from Monday to Friday.
- Start work at the clinic location and travel to the hospital location in the afternoon.
- Work primarily in outpatient settings (75%) with some inpatient responsibilities (25%), focusing on evaluating patients for discharge.
- Coordinate with the current inpatient therapist schedule to ensure coverage for same-day total joint replacements.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served.
- Evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans, and document patient status accurately.
- Assist technicians and assistants in resolving problems.
