Position Reporting To – SAP Program Lead

Summary/Objective

Reporting to the SAP program lead, the SAP Developer will be focusing on developing reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, daily AMS support for debug/quick fixing.

Essential Functions

Create technical documentation, code review, and test processes on standard and developed objects.

Design and code application programs.

Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging.

Participate in the Development and Support of SAP Modules, especially SD/MM/FI/CO.

Maintain records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.

Participate in daily production support and operations processes

Participate in the development and maintenance of custom-built functionality and interfaces for SAP Applications

Lead troubleshooting of incidents or defects that arise in SAP applications and ensure a timely resolution.

Ensure that all stakeholders are updated on progress as well

May require working evening/early morning to collaborate with global IT teams

Skills and Qualifications

Strong Analytical and contextualization skills.

Strong troubleshooting skills to debug any defects and find root cause of problems.

Ability to communicate complex technical information and impacts in business and functional terms.

Competent at creating development effort and cost estimates using inputs from Functional team and then managing the RICEFW.

Team player, skilled in working in a highly collaborative manner.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum 5 years SAP implementation experience - ideally 2 full project lifecycles with SD, MM with a focus on logistics SCM.

Knowledgeable in technical areas like interface, EDI, PDF forms, enhancements and user exits etc.

Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP, and Agile.

An SAP Certification is considered an asset.
