Role Description: Operations Specialist - 2nd Shift
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team. The Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution and delivery of our logistics services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to providing outstanding operational support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the logistics and operations teams.
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling transportation services to meet client requirements.
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues or delays to maintain service levels.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including business development and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Shift Hours: 13:00-22:00
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
