Job Title : NC Programmer
Location : Fort Worth, TX
Remote/Onsite : Day 1 onsite
Full-Time Rate : $80k - $135k
Job Description :
- Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, Bell Process Framework, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work.
- Provide MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning sequences as required.
- Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models with 2D drawings exist as required.
- Develop, create, and maintain Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing operations for all media types, including MCAD and manual legacy designs.
- Execute creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions for Numerical Controlled equipment.
- Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat patterns, and associated digital tooling programs.
- Possess working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing, and Planning processes and procedures.
- Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
- Support producibility assessments when requested.
- Maintain records and schedules of assigned work.
- Meet established company cost control standards, schedule, and quality requirements to maintain market competitiveness.
- Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as determined by management.
- Execute strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required to communicate and interact between internal and external customers.
- Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct, instruct, mentor, and check/validate Production Engineering work.
- Attend training and complete competency-based testing as required by management to remain current with technological advancements.
Qualifications :
- Educational Requirements : Four (4) years of college or eight (8) years of experience in the aircraft industry.
- Demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
