Position Title: Credit Resolution

You are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional providing essential technical and research support to branches in the Credit Resolution Department.

This position pays: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Location: Hybrid (onsite for two weeks of training, then remote)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What you will be doing:

• Process complex credits on non-performing assets through journal entries and monetary adjustments.
• Balance outages and adjusted journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
• Act as a point of contact for a variety of specialized functions, including:
• Advancement of funds for collections costs.
• Member Direct payment processing for charge-off accounts.
• Reconveyances for paid-in-full mortgage accounts.
• Auction sales proceeds processing.
• Third-party collection agency payment processing.
• General ledger balancing.
• Assist with incoming mail processing for the department.

What you bring:

• Strong technical and analytical skills to manage financial adjustments.
• Attention to detail and ability to balance complex transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping practices.
• Proficiency in handling time-intensive tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide support to various branches.
• Experience with Symitar preferred.
