Your role at Clorox:
The Clorox Company is looking for highly qualified individuals to come work for a multi-billion dollar organization. The position involves contributing both as an individual and as part of a team in delivering consumer products processing projects and will participate on cross-functional business teams interacting with plant management team members, plant team members, vendors, customers, and other functions.
In this role, you will:
- Work in a collaborative, team-based environment utilizing Continuous Improvement (CI) processes and principles.
- Participate in teams focused on developing, designing, installing, and starting up new products, product improvements, and technology upgrades for larger projects.
- Focus on integrating specialized discipline knowledge into assignments and solutions.
- Plan and lead medium-sized projects independently with minimal management oversight.
- Act as a subject-matter expert within discipline-specific teams.
- Demonstrate proficiency in analytical problem-solving, leveraging multi-disciplinary consultations.
- Evaluate and select external consultants to supplement in-house expertise in the specialist’s discipline.
- Manage project scope definition and scope change processes effectively.
- Develop and manage project schedules and resources efficiently.
- Typically oversee projects valued at less than $1,500,000.
- Apply Clorox engineering principles and Early Management tools to enhance the capability of packaging systems across Clorox manufacturing facilities.
- Provide packaging engineering expertise for project design, construction, commissioning, and start-up while working on multi-functional teams.
- Participate in project work requiring 30–50% travel based on work assignments.
What we look for:
- Engineering Degree (BSME / BSEE / BSChE / IE or equivalent engineering degree)
- 5+ years of engineering experience, various functions ideal: 2+ years of experience in Operations, 2+ years in Staff Engineering, 2+ years in Plant Engineering
- Experience with capital projects and capital budget process
- Good business judgment with ability to calibrate with business objectives and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of SAP or equivalent, and utilization of Engineering Standards, along with familiarity with CI / TPM / Lean Manufacturing processes and techniques preferred
- Proven ability to document and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
- Background in consumer packaged goods environment preferred

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900
–Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400
–Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900
