Embedded Software Engineer – Defense Systems

Must be clearance eligible – US Citizens only due to the nature of projects (ITAR)

• We are looking for multiple Embedded Software Engineers (Jr to Lead)
• Defense Systems (cUAS, anti-missile)
• Competitive Salary + Package + Equity
• El Segundo, CA – full time, on-site

I’m working with an incredibly exciting Defense Startup, they have set out to revolutionize cUAS/anti-missile space, their first platform is a medium to long-range interceptor platform.

Early-stage, highly-backed startup with something seriously exciting up their sleeve. This is a great opportunity to become part of the next big thing in Defense.

Required Skills:

• 2+ (Jr), 7+ (senior) years of experience in embedded systems design
• High proficiency in C/C++
• Proficiency in communication protocols like I2C, CAN, SPI, UART
• Experience with low-level hardware driver implementation
• Thorough understanding of GNC, control and estimation theory, and autonomous sensors and integration

Desired:

• Understanding of GNC, control, estimation theory, and autonomous sensor
• Experience with Python and/or Rust
• Experience in computer vision
