Our growing biotech partner is seeking a Category Manager for Electronic Systems to join the team to manage electronic category suppliers, driving spend performance, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationships. This role focuses on achieving financial, supply reliability, and compliance targets while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact on the development of circulatory and respiratory products for patients.

Job Duties:

• Lead sourcing initiatives, including supplier identification, market analysis, and cost management to drive value and competitive advantage.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to enhance performance, innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Create and execute category sourcing strategies, incorporating business needs, market intelligence, and supplier evaluations.
• Manage contracts and ensure compliance to optimize financial and operational performance.
• Represent procurement in cross-functional projects, driving KPIs and addressing risks in the supply chain.

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering, Operations/Supply Chain, or related field; MBA/MS preferred.
• 6+ years of procurement experience; experience across multiple supply chain disciplines preferred.
• Knowledge of motors, cables, PCBs, semiconductors, and the battery industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP and procurement systems; Lean/Six Sigma (Black Belt) preferred.
