Job Description:

We are seeking a newly barred attorney or an attorney with limited workers' compensation experience who is eager to learn and grow within this specialized field. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation cases, including hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage a caseload under the guidance and mentorship of experienced attorneys.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality representation and positive outcomes for clients.
• Stay up to date with changes in workers' compensation law and related areas.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the (State) Bar (newly barred attorneys are encouraged to apply).
• Strong commitment to social justice and advocacy for underserved populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Prior experience in a non-profit or legal aid setting is a plus but not required.
