The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director/Director of Cardiovascular Biology to lead pioneering research efforts in understanding and targeting cardiovascular diseases. In this leadership role, you will drive the discovery and development of therapies, advance our understanding of novel mechanisms, and significantly impact the future of cardiovascular treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead comprehensive research programs centered on novel mechanisms in cardiovascular biology.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to identify and validate new therapeutic targets and mechanisms of action.
- Oversee in vitro and in vivo experiments to support hypothesis-driven research and preclinical development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, and clinical development, ensuring alignment with overarching company goals.
- Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders, contributing to publications, patent filings, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in cardiovascular biology, pharmacology, or a related field, with a strong focus on cardiovascular systems.
- A minimum of 7 years of postdoctoral experience, with a mix of academic and industry settings preferred.
