Job Description

Human Technologies, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a manufacturing company in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This is a direct hire, salaried role. Salary will depend on experience and education, and the range is approximately $75,000 – 85,000 / year. The company offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as a 401K with employer match. A relocation allowance is available.


Requirements:

  • Must have 7+ years of experience in a Maintenance role within the manufacturing industry, repairing and troubleshooting various types of plant equipment and machinery.
  • Must have 4+ years in a Supervisory role, with strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Must have strong mechanical/technical aptitude and experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.
  • Lean manufacturing experience and/or certification is a plus.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office software.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Maintenance Technicians, providing leadership and training.
  • Manage the execution of all required plant maintenance, including preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Create or update SOP’s and ensure that all team members are trained on any changes.
  • Maintain and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and other departmental and employee goals.
  • Ensure a safe work environment for all company employees.
  • Coordinate with the plant Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Director, and other departments to effectively schedule maintenance work.
  • Work to continuously improve machinery down time and be proactive in addressing issues.
  • Serve as the main contact for technical issues and troubleshooting.
  • Track all maintenance work completed and all maintenance related paperwork.
  • Ensure that inventory levels for parts and tools are maintained at the appropriate level; coordinate with supply chain team to procure necessary materials.
  • Conduct personnel evaluations periodically, and continuously mentor and develop the maintenance team members.
