Paralegal- Insurance Dispute Resolution

Our client, a global leader in legal dispute resolution and advisory services, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced paralegal to support their litigation and insurance coverage practice. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in case management, court procedures, and legal documentation.

Focus:

  • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare, organize, and manage legal documents for litigation and insurance coverage cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, draft correspondence, and assist in the preparation of pleadings and discovery materials.
  • File and monitor documents in accordance with Federal and California court regulations.
  • Manage deadlines and maintain accurate case files, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements.
  • Provide administrative and substantive support to attorneys throughout the litigation process.



Skill Set:

  • A Paralegal Certificate from a program accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) is advantageous; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in litigation, with a focus on insurance coverage matters.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Federal and California court systems, including filing procedures and rules.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to streamline tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
