Overview:

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, your main focus will be building cloud environments for our airline clients. You will also be working with internal teams to build tooling and automation to improve internal processes. Your work will have direct impact on Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) which provisions our customer environments, internal testing environments, and improves SDLC across the organization. We use Pulumi to provision the infrastructure across multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Write software, with a focus on Backend and APIs
• Provision various cloud resources using IaC code for repeatable and maintainable deployments.
• Use and promote docker containers in day-to-day tasks.
• Build continuous deployment/delivery platforms to enable development and operations teams.
• Build and maintain application monitoring to ensure availability of various systems.
• Test the features you build. Troubleshoot environments, verify configurations, and fix bugs.
• Participate in estimations.
• Improve internal documentation and run books
• Participate in on-call rotation

Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of industry experience building production software systems.
• Demonstrable experience with Node and Typescript.
• Demonstrable experience with containerization of services, docker and Kubernetes
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
