Our client, a Southern Westchester County-Based Company is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to support its growing team and enhance operational efficiency. This newly created role is primarily office-based, with occasional job site visits as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily scheduling of technical staff and ensure efficient routing to job sites.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Project Managers to optimize staff assignments.
- Lead weekly management meetings to coordinate project schedules.
- Monitor project progress, phases, and finances for informed decision-making.
- Address and resolve on-site issues, occasionally visiting job sites for solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison between the CEO and staff for internal matters.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and acquisitions with the CFO.
- Manage inventory with the warehouse team to ensure adequate project materials.
- Handle logistics for large equipment deliveries and work with moving companies.
- Obtain insurance certificates for each project.
- Ensure seamless communication between Project Management, Engineering, and Technical teams.
- Maintain company standards for installations and adherence to processes.
- Oversee project progress from sales to completion, ensuring compliance with protocols.
- Ensure accurate daily entries in TimeSolv.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and trades.
- Ensure office and warehouse spaces are presentable for showroom tours.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing teams in a Construction company.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement operational systems.
- Adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
