Role Title: Program Manager
Location: Bay Area, CA preferred (but West coast is fine)
Schedule: Flexible: Remote with the ability to visit local offices as needed.
Compensation: 100k to 115k plus bonus 5 to 10%(negoitible)
Program Managers are responsible for client relationship management, overseeing a portfolio of programs, and ensuring successful project delivery. Their day-to-day responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, from managing program strategy and financials to identifying and mitigating risks, to talent management and team leadership. The Program Manager is crucial as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and contractors, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Overall Responsibilities:
Oversight of program(s), program strategy, project schedules, identify operational needs and risks, determine and address talent risk and needs, manage program financials and execution of projects to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
Manage a portfolio of projects from inception through ongoing support and completion.
Operations:
Oversee client and project relations across multiple projects ensuring maximum efficiency in resource allocation, and monitor project progress
Guide and provide clear direction to project managers and team leads with client managers on various projects. Providing guidance between projects and directing managing projects back to PM’s or TL’s
Establish and maintain consistent project and program infrastructure that can be scaled (if and when needed)
Contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, and execute action plans for each project team
Identify trends within teams and programs, and implement change where necessary
Create presentations and business recommendations for monthly, quarterly and QBR planning with client and employer
· Hiring and Training:
Review attrition and hiring cycles for each team and identify program risks against budget and workload risks
Work closely with recruiting teams to source best candidates for project needs (defining program and role descriptions and expectations in hiring cycle)
Create training timelines, and manage training and ramp up schedules, documentation, and calendars for teams
Team(S):
Enforce policies and procedures
Coach, guide and manage each team member on each project
Coordinate performance tracking, documentation, and implementation, along with managing and coach feedback and reporting
Qualifications:
· Program Management - managing multiple projects as a portfolio
· Managing a team or teams
· Service Delivery, Stakeholder management
· Solutions and Consulting focused
· IT Industry Background
· Ability to conduct MBRs, QBRs,
Required Skills:
· Minimum 5+ years of work experience in client management, engagement management and/or service delivery.
· Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous, fast-paced, constantly changing environments.
· Experience with project management, and/or program management
· Experience managing teams of up to 30 staff members
· Experience managing both strategic work and detailed tactical work
· Communication, interpersonal, relationship building and consulting and teamwork skills
· Relevant technology / solution background or awareness in the diverse areas we operate: IT, PMO, Google Cloud, IT / BPO Managed Services, IAM, Salesforce, UX, QA, Devices, and AR/VR etc.
· Client facing experience
· B.S Degree preferred
Nice to have Skills (not required):
· Familiar with SOW’s; billing & invoicing, PO’s, funding proposals, budget management
· Managed multiple projects by utilizing a contingent workforce.
