Who is the Deployment & Customer Success Engineer?
You will be responsible for the deployment of MES and our AI product across manufacturing lines in the North American region. As our on-ground person, you'll be playing a strategic partner role for our customers through their entire lifecycle with us. Your primary focus will be to build loyalty and ensure long-term client retention by consistently supporting our customers, addressing issues, and helping the business development team with upselling and renewals.
You'll be in charge of:
- Understanding each customer's manufacturing lines, processes, and controls architecture as a part of the initial requirement study in assisting the sales and proposal process.
- Holding product demonstrations for customers to showcase the value of the product in increasing the efficiency of their lines.
- Creating, planning, and tracking the deployment plan.
- Deploying our Product across major manufacturing lines and closely working with the product deployment team in India to validate product deliverables to customers.
- Installing software, and loggers, and running initial sanity checks to ensure everything's up and running.
- Pulling data logs and sharing them back with the India team to ensure correctness.
- Providing the team remote access if required for any kind of support.
- Tracking customer issues and bringing in resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Engaging with the customer to help them realize the benefits of the product so it becomes part of their routine.
- Sustaining business growth and profitability by maximizing the value of our product suite.
- Managing a portfolio of customers to ensure delivery of expected value while using the product.
- Translating customer requirements in terms of product features and feeding new feature requirements to the product team to improve the product capabilities.
- Looking for expansion opportunities with customers to upgrade & expand onto other lines.
- Managing projects end-to-end involving global players in manufacturing.
- This role may also involve traveling to various plants located across the North America region (currently serving the US, Mexico & Canada).
- Being the liaison between domain expertise and software development.
More about you:
You have a Bachelor in any engineering field.
You have at least 2 years of experience working on automation lines for the automotive manufacturing industry and have a good understanding of the processes, controls architecture & programming of these lines.
You have experience handling Automotive customers - especially OEMs & Tier 1's.
You have hands-on experience with control programming work for automotive lines (PLC/CNC/Robot)
You are a start-up enthusiast with a penchant for fast-paced work environments.
